NYFW, continued

Rodarte! So good.

It’s a more chic, luxe take on ’90s style that I approve of. The Mulleavy sisters can do no wrong…well, except for this.

Even better was Marc by Marc Jacobs. The Marc Jacobs show wasn’t my scene–too ’70s and too bright for no good reason. Here though, the brights are lovely and justified with only moments of throwback tempered by lots of modern cuts. It’s easy to see that Marc is having a ladylike moment when this collection is considered in context of the one he designed for Louis Vuitton F/W 2010. And I like it.

I don’t wholly love this dress, but had to post it because the shoes are perfection, especially paired with that gray.

I LOVE this look with the flow of the dress, and the clunky of the shoe, and these colors. MbMJ can dress me for spring anytime.

A thoughtful way of keeping all of the military-inspired, olive-colored pieces everyone’s buying now current for next season.

Adore this. Thank you, Marc.
