And then where would we be? Somewhere stupid, for sure.
Today I’m at the most lovely little coffeehouse with a most lovely friend revising my paper/presentation for my Racialized Sexualities seminar. I would like to post it here, but I’m not sure how that works with copyright and all that. We’ll see. I’m writing about Chanel Iman and Jourdan Dunn’s recent editorial in Teen Vogue and how that feature (specifically the images) reveals how the structures of racism and discrimination still persist even in a magazine that declares itself to be progressive.
Here’s some cool photos of the coffeehouse.
